Trade/Maintenance Assistant

Our client, based in the Western Suburbs are seeking experienced and reliable Trade/Maintenance Assistant to become an integral part of their growing team. 

The Role:

• Day shift- 2 to 3 days per week ongoing
• 8:00am to 4:00pm (Must be available for occasional adhoc after-hours requests)
• Various locations in the Western suburbs of Melbourne
• All tools provided
• Fleet vehicle available

• General labouring duties
• Internal furniture, equipment and stock relocations, and deliveries
• Minor construction labouring using basic tools
• Adhoc maintenance duties including-
  • Assembling flat packs
  • Changing ceiling panels
  • Car cleaning
  • Maintenance of gardens and landscaping
  • Security door- Battery changes
  • Door adjustments
  • External grounds maintenance
• Communicating effectively with the Facilities Coordinator and Project/Facilities Supervisor regarding all Work Orders
• Use of Outlook and Facilities Maintenance Software (Omtrak - training provided)
• Training will be provided for things such as patch and painting, corking etc and other basic maintenance requests where required.

• Previous experience in construction or maintenance role (essential)
• Working knowledge of Outlook
• Willingness to learn and use Omtrak software
• Willingness to learn the Fleet Car Booking software
• Must have valid driver’s licence (Copy of current Vic Roads Demerit report required)
• Must provide Police check
• Must have valid Working with Children check
• Good communication skills and reliability
