POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Quality Officer to support the Quality Assurance team in monitoring production activities on the factory floor, ensuring products are built according to standards and contracts
RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Perform routine quality inspections and checks throughout bathroom pod production.
·Accurately capture and maintain inspection records using tablets and internal QA systems.
· Assist with QA documentation, reporting, and daily quality tracking activities.
·Liaise effectively with the QA Team, production operators and leaders regarding quality issues or incomplete process steps
·Monitor corrective actions and confirm completion of required rework.
· Build positive working relationships across QA and production teams, promoting a quality-focused culture.
·Stay up to date with changes to production processes, drawings, specifications and materials.
· Escalate any identified safety or quality concerns promptly.
ABOUT YOU:
·Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
·Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
·Basic computer literacy, including experience using Outlook, Word, Excel, and tablet-based systems.
·Ability to read measurements and interpret basic drawings.
·Experience using tools and layout equipment such as self-levelling lasers, builder’s squares, measuring tapes, and similar equipment.
·Strong attention to detail, with a sense of urgency and accountability for quality outcomes.
·Completion of Year 12 or equivalent
·Previous experience in manufacturing, construction or quality inspection is advantageous but not essential.
·Hold a valid White Card (preferred)
