Capture Recruitment is seeking a Production Team / Assembly Line Fitter for a position based in the Western Suburbs on Day shift for those with demonstrated experience. This is an ongoing role with an immediate start and a view to permanency for the right candidate.
Shift Schedule:
- Day Shift, 7:00am to 3:00pm
- Monday to Friday
- Pick & prepare components from the warehouse for assembly
- Assemble products in accordance with technical drawings, procedures & job instructions
- Reading & interpreting industrial drawings for assembly of industrial fans
- Use of hand & power tools
- Forklift driving
- Manual handling tasks
- Carry out regular maintenance on assembly line tools & report defects to the Production Supervisor or Operations Manager
- Assist with warehouse duties as required, including non routine operational tasks
- Maintain clean, organised & safe equipment, machinery & work areas
- Current & valid forklift licence is essential
- Ability to read & interpret technical drawings essential
- Mechanical aptitude, with technical or trade training in mechanical processes considered highly desirable
- Experience using hand & power tools
- Experience using overhead crane advantageous
- Proven ability to work with & meet KPI's
- Basic computer capability across Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word & Microsoft Outlook
