We are currently seeking an experienced Painter to join a well established business based in Bendigo.

The role
• Supervise painters and subcontractor crews across repaint projects
• Work with the Project Manager to deliver jobs safely, on time, and to specification
• Carry out hands on painting and surface preparation duties as required
• Coordinate labour, materials, tools, and equipment on site
• Complete site paperwork, reports, time sheets, and job monitoring records
• Lead site safety activities including risk assessments, pre-starts, inductions, and toolbox meetings
• Liaise with clients on site regarding progress, issues, and day to day updates
• Provide day to day direction, coaching, and support to team members on site
About you
• Painting and Decorating trade qualification
• Strong understanding of site safety systems and safe work practices
• Working at Heights ticket
• EWP ticket is desirable
• Good verbal communication and the ability to give clear instructions
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills and confidence completing reports electronically
