We have an ongoing casual opportunity for an experienced MR/HR Driver to join a leading office and school furniture manufacturing company based in Melbourne’s Western suburbs.
This is not a sit-behind-the-wheel-only job. You’ll be delivering furniture to customers and sites, which means plenty of manual handling, loading and unloading, and heavy lifting. We’re looking for someone who is physically fit, capable of safely lifting heavy furniture, reliable, and ready to get stuck in.
What you'll be doing
Driving an MR/HR truck and completing furniture deliveries
Completing daily pre-start vehicle checks
Safely securing loads for transport
Loading and unloading furniture
Regular manual handling and heavy lifting
Completing delivery paperwork and logbooks
Working closely with the warehouse and delivery team
Providing professional and friendly customer service
What we're looking for
Current MR or HR Driver’s Licence
White Card
Previous experience in furniture delivery or similar manual-handling delivery work highly regarded
Physically fit and able to safely perform regular heavy lifting
Comfortable with loading and unloading furniture throughout the day
Strong communication skills
Reliable and punctual
Positive can-do attitude
Team player who is happy to get stuck in
Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety
