Our client, is an Australian industry leader in the manufacturing of screen media for the mining and mineral processing industries. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking reliable and hands on Manufacturing Technicians / Press Operators to join the Day Shift team in Campbellfield. These are ongoing opportunities offering full time hours with a genuine view to permanency for the right people.
Shift:
Monday to Thursday
- 4:30am to 2:30pm
- 5:30am to 3:30pm

Duties:
• Preparing raw materials for production processes
• Feeding materials into mould heating ovens
• Operating and assisting with press machinery
• Assisting with mould setups and product changeovers
• Deflashing, trimming, sanding, buffing and finishing products
• Using hand and power tools
• Conducting visual quality inspections on finished products
• Cleaning and preparing products for dispatch
• Manual handling and general production duties
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
• Previous experience within manufacturing or production environments
• Experience operating machinery or production equipment is advantageous
• Plastics, rubber, press operation or injection moulding experience is highly regarded
• Comfortable working in warm industrial environments around ovens and machinery
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Excellent punctuality, reliability and attendance
• Ability to work well within a team environment
