- Set up and operate rubber press machines in line with production schedules and job specifications
- Load rubber compounds and moulds correctly, ensuring accurate placement prior to each cycle
- Monitor press temperatures, pressures, and cycle times to ensure consistent product quality
- Inspect finished rubber components for defects and compliance with quality standards
- Trim excess rubber and complete basic finishing tasks as required
- Perform routine machine cleaning, checks, and minor adjustments to support safe operations
Requirements:
- Experience in Manufacturing/Production environments.
- Experience in Plastics and Rubber manufacturing is advantageous
- Experience in operating Press Machines, Injection Moulders is advantageous
- Comfortable working around industrial ovens/heat (+30°C)
- Physically fit
- Impeccable timekeeping – Punctuality, reliability and attendance
