Machine Operator

Our client, based in the Western Suburbs, are seeking an experienced and reliable Machine Operator to become an integral part of their growing team. This is a fast-paced job that has variety every day.

The Role:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Start- 7:00am
• Finish- 3:30pm (2:30pm on Friday's)

• Operation of printing and packaging machinery
• Undertake gluing (straight line, crash lock bottom, peel and seal)
• Box folding and gluing
• Die cutting
• Laminating/mounting paper to cardboard
• Feeding raw materials
• Packing of finished goods
• Troubleshooting when required
• Preventative maintenance
• Basic record keeping

• Previous experience in machine operation with printing, gluing, die cutting or other packaging machinery is essential
• Sound technical skills and ability to diagnose machine faults.
• Strong attention to detail
• A drive to learn and develop in a growing company
• Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Must have drivers licence and own transport
• Must be available for an immediate start
